FIFA 13 Summary
A big heist has been pulled off by Payday 2 as it raids UK gamer wallets to take the top spot in the UK all format chart. It knocks down Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, which had enjoyed three uninterrupted weeks.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 sees a surge in sales by 60% to retake 3rd, while FIFA 13 sinks 4th. Naughty Dog's The Last of Us keeps hold of 6th, as Tomb Raider holds 9th.
The UK all format chart crown is worn by a right blockhead as Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition continues to hog the top spot. It's Microsoft's "longest unbroken run" as publisher since Forza Motorsport 2 back in mid-2007.
FIFA 13 rises 2nd as sports fans prepare for the arrival of the Premiership season. JRPG Tales of Xillia from Namco Bandai debuts 4th in the chart. The Last of Us falls back 6th.
Pikmin 3, the most highly-anticipated Wii U game - and perhaps the only AAA Wii U exclusive game left - wasn't able to capture the top spot in the UK's weekly game sales chart, as the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft took the top spot. It did manage to outsell The Last of Us, however.
The end of the world whilst looking after a smart-mouth teen is all the rage as The Last of Us continues to lead the UK all format chart, even with sales dropping 43%. Animal Crossing: New Leaf is just behind 2nd.
If The Last of Us makes it another week than it'll match Black Ops 2 and FIFA 12 in unbroken runs. Mario and Luigi: Dream Team Bros. debuted 3rd. Civilization V: Brave New World entered 39th.
For another week Naughty Dog's The Last of Us has kept itself atop the UK all format chart. Next up is Nintendo's Animal Crossing: New Leaf, with FIFA 13 rising up to take 3rd. Tomb Raider was 4th.
Max Payne 3 suddenly appears again now that's its out for Mac. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 revives 6th, up from 14th. GRID 2 has fallen back 10th, having been replaced by FIFA 13.
