PC RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 "holiday 2014", Atari plan "even more social features"

While Rollercoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile is now out on iPhone and iPad, boiling the blood of veteran RCT fans. Atari announce the "completely different" PC version is due this holiday. It's a "multiplayer" version, apparently.

Atari say it'll have "even more social features" with co-operative gameplay. It's unclear if they mean 'more social' than the mobile version, or previous PC releases.

Atari assures us that a "PC experience" is in development for the next RollerCoaster Tycoon, meaning that the human spirit might not be crushed after all following their 'RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile' announcement.

RCT 4 has been unveiled for iOS, plunging hopes of a new serious entry into oblivion. This abomination maybe overlooked if an actual PC version is in the works.

Sorry thrill-seekers but while Atari may have teased a new RollerCoaster Tycoon in the works with a looped GIF of a coaster in motion, it appears this isn't what PC theme park managers have been hoping for.

A hashtag was posted alongside the image - #RCT4M - and unfortunately that 'M' reeks of mobile. Atari posted the tease on their official Facebook page; a harbinger if you will.
