Bundle Stars launches All-Star Bundle containing eight highly rated Steam titles for $1.99

Digital download compilation specialist Bundle Stars has just announced the All Stars Bundle, a nifty collection of eight highly ranked Steam games.

Including such notable luminaries as Tropico 4: Steam Special Edition, Magicka and System Shock 2, the only thing that makes the bundle more enticing is the price; the whole lot can be yours for just $1.99 (£1.59) for the next 24 hours.

Valentine Yeltyshev is back with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. creator GSC Game World, having left for a while to pursue other goals. Now the studio is back up and running and is working on its next project.

Will it be another S.T.A.L.K.E.R.? What's definitely not another entry into the series is 'STALKER: Apocalypse', says the public relations director. That's a 'scam' by West Games who've 'no expertise' with the IP.

GSC Game World disputes bitComposer claims on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. license

The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series looked, for a moment, secured. Publisher bitComposer Entertainment have announced they acquired the license for video game adaptation, but GSC Game World says otherwise.

While bitComposer is adamant they "hold the license for PC and video games", Eugene Kuchma from GSC claims trademark filings show bitComposer doesn't own rights to make S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games.

The post-apocalyptic world lives on as publisher bitComposer Entertainment has acquired the "exclusive worldwide rights" to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. license for all "future video game adaptations".

They're excited to now own the "reputable brand" of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. which has sold millions of copies. All other rights for the franchise "remain with the Strugatsky brothers," so no movies.
