StarCraft Universe is astounding for a number of reasons. First, it’s an MMO-like multiplayer mod for StarCraft II. It raised $85,000 on Kickstarter with Blizzard’s blessing. It’s got full voice acting and CGI cinematics. Perhaps most impressive of all for a fan-made project of this scope, it’s actually reached a playable state and is in open beta right now.

Blizzard has announced that it’s making three-mission prologue campaign, a lead-in to the upcoming Legacy of the Void expansion, available for owners to play for free.
Previously it was reserved as a pre-order bonus for players taking part in the Legacy of the Void Beta. Now you can jump in by installing a starter pack on Battle.net.
Starcraft II: Legacy of the Void will be released soon, and Blizzard has revealed what they state will be a "taste" of what to expect with the user interface update that will be included in the 3.0 update across all Starcraft II games, including Wings of Liberty and Heart of the Swarm.
