I want to congratulate the creators on realising that the base from a region can not generate more requisition points then the hole empire.
ex: My empire was generating 11k requisition points for turn but my base during the turn generated more then 50k requisition points and around 2k every minute.
Dawn of war is one of my favorite real time strategy game and all of their expansion's such as winter assault , dark crusade and soulstorm but they a bit messed the dawn of war 2 , in dawn of war 2 you can't build your own base wich is like my favorite thing in all of the strategy games , company of heros is unique in its own ways but why to screw up the dawn of war 2 , look dawn of war 2 is a good game but its not the same strategy game i played i know they tried to make something new but for me it is not exactly what i waited for , i played the game and passed it and its kinda boring , the graphics and all are cool but its just the maps are all the same its just boring
Wicked game! The best RTS/RPG i have played in along time.ITS ADDICTIVE!!!!The story is exellent, the visuals is great(on ultra).Love the fact of choosing the planet that you want to save first no restricteness on moving the story in your favour!Great game need more of these!
I've played almost every RTS out there. Even the crappy ones. To name a few of the good ones, I have played and still play Starcraft ever since it came out, I have played Dune when it came out and WarCraft I/II and Age of Empires series, World in Conflict, Warrior Kings and Myth.
I have played all the Warhammer RTS and now their DOW2 RTS BETA has done what I've been waiting for in an RTS. They did the first thing I was waiting for in the first series - point/resource capturing. No more losing your SCVS,peons or trucks to losing or lagging your resourcing. There is little to no base building, it is all in one super-armored building. No more half dozen+ buildings to worry about lagging techs or units. Its all about micromanaging and teching mainly within your squad units and heroes. There is still the typical 3 level tier upgrade which you only do at main building. It makes it simple but deceptively complex as you have restrategize your RTS habits. Download the demo of DOW2 to play one of the best and innovative RTS. And to give an immediate comparison to what I've seen with Starcraft 2 - DOW2 units don't seem to be as "cool" as SC2 plus DOW2 air units are non-existent thus far. But I'm betting there will be some similar unit features between both games. But while waiting for the most anticipated game of the decade, SC2, DOW2 sure does satisfy that new, cool and fun RTS gameplay in long time.
