Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z Summary
Don't you love it when long running franchises change themselves up and do something new? We do. But not like this...
Tecmo Koei and Team Ninja's Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z will be arriving on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 early next year on February 28th, 2014. We'll battle "fierce zombies" as resurrected cyborg-ninja Yaiba.
A trusty ninja sword and "mecha weapons" will make short stubby work of the zombie hordes in "brutal, over-the-top abandon." It uses a "stylized living comic book" art style.
Tecmo Koei has announced that their ninja-meets-zombie action adventure Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z will be coming in early 2014, and in addition to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, it will also be hitting Steam.
It turns out that Keiji Inafune's new "Yaiba" game that was last week is actually the name of the lead character of the actual game, Ninja Gaiden Z, and while Yaiba is dealing with zombies, he's after the iconic Tecmo ninja himself, Ryu Hayabusa.
Keji Inafune is working on plenty of games at the moment, including Soul Sacrifice and J.J. Rockets. Famitsu has announced his new title, which is called Yaiba.
