Cain and Avellone will lend their mutant writing brains to Nuka Break, helping with story, characters, creatures and scenery. They’d also guest star in season two of the web show.
Tim Cain was the lead programmer for the original Fallout, while Chris Avellone was most recently senior designer on Obsidian Entertainment’s Fallout: New Vegas.
”Tim and Chris are fans and supporters of our series, and needless to say, we’re huge fans of their work,” reads the Nuka Break Kickstarter. ”Having them attached would make the series even sweeter. Reaching our new $120k goal will allow us to expand the overall production of the project, which makes it worth bringing on these two talented gentlemen.”
The Nuka Break project has already achieved its funding of $60k but there’s 31 days to go. They need that $120k sweet spot to get the two Fallout veterans to sign on the dotted line, and there isn’t much needed to reach this new informal goal. Right now it’s sitting at just over $84k. Season one of Nuka Break picked up quite a fan following.
Nuka Break is from actor and filmmaker Zack Finfrock. All the Kickstarter funding goes towards ”production, locations, props, visual effects, special effects, etc.” Check out the Nuka Break Kickstarter page for more.
