Diablo-esque action-RPG Path of Exile, which is currently in open beta, is adding Twitch.tv live streaming functionality.
Players will now not only be able to stream gameplay from inside the game client, but will also enjoy full support for streaming webcam footage and an integrated Twitch channel chat. The Twitch integration will also allow real-time online leaderboard updates for race events.
Players who are streaming games will now have little Twitch icons next to their names wherever they appear. In addition, race events will have their own Twitch.tv channel, and will stream whichever player is in the lead. The stream will allow the viewer to focus on any one player in that event as well.
Gamers can check out Path of Exile on the official site here.
