Paradox Development Studios has just released the Wealth of Nations expansion for grand strategy Europa Universalis IV, not to mention the very welcomed addition of patch 1.6 brimming with free features.
This second expansion focuses more on trade and all that it entails; diplomacy, war and swashbuckling privateers. We can now establish trade companies to manage far off lands.
Trade conflicts are a new powerful way to drive a wedge between nations, and being a small one-port sovereign isn’t as bad as it used to be with all-new piracy.
The latest 1.6 patch for EUIV also throws in some nice new additions to the game without the need to fork over any cash. They’ve tweaked the macro build interface for example, letting us have quicker and more convenient access to coring territory and dispatching missionaries without having to flick between menus.
Paradox Interactive have also listened to the fans and lowered the price a little for the expansion this time around, with Wealth of Nations on sale for £8. It’s 50p cheaper if bought through the Paradox Store instead of Steam.
