The first and maybe only single-player DLC for Assassin’s Creed: Unity is due next week, says Ubisoft. Dead Kings was part of the now scrapped and ‘compensated’ Season Pass for Unity.
Dead Kings releases for PC on January 13th, and takes Arno out of Paris to Saint Denis. Aside from an ‘underground city’ to explore, the DLC also features new ”Murder Mysteries, enigmas” and co-op.
”After the events of Assassin’s Creed Unity, Arno leaves Paris for Saint Denis, a mysterious city that holds the crypts of deceased French kings. Sent on a mission to the extensive underground of the Basilica, Arno will face a faction of new foes, the Raiders, populating its catacombs. Equipped with a lantern and a new powerful weapon, the Guillotine gun, Arno will have to navigate the dangerous passageways to uncover the darkest secrets of the city.”
More side activities open up for Arno like solving the Murder Mysteries as we play detective and finger the murderer. New weapons, gear and outfits carry over into the main Unity game from Dead Kings, which is now a free DLC and releases on PC January 13th.
