The Friday release of Call of Duty: Black Ops III was a disaster for PC players, as it was soon apparent that the game was infested with a host of bugs, predominantly unstable framerates and graphical glitches.
Treyarch has posted a quick update on Steam. According to the developer, ”We have made a patch to address performance issues people have been experiencing on some CPUs including Intel i5 processors.”
Of course, this doesn’t solve many of the problems, but it does help a good portion of users with stability, and the developer is inviting gamers to continue to send them feedback on their issues. Players have responded by reporting gltiches such as getting stuck on black loading screens, stuttering, memory leaks, random crashes and the like.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III was released on 6 November 2015 on PC and console. The latter have not reported any of the issues the PC version has suffered.
