Monolith has updated Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor in preparation of the Bright Lord DLC, so it’s a meaty update. There are also performance and other improvements tagging along for the ride.
Some crash issues have been looked at, better domination FX rendering, a troubling bug to do with saving and loading with the benchmark, and the ever-popular splash screen skipping feature!
Once you’ve seen the splash screen stuff for the first time you’ll now be able to skip them, returning sanity to PC gamers. Honestly, we know who made the game and we know you’re using third-party stuff - just keep it all in the credits. Jeez.
Once again Monolith warn us that the Bright Lord DLC will be requiring more out of our PC rigs than the base game, so you might want to adjust your settings to get the most frames per second. Shadow of Mordor is already a hungry game, especially for VRAM.
