Pirated Quantum Break? Play with a Pirate Patch

Did you purchase a copy of Quantum Break from the Windows Store when it released yesterday at 2pm BST? Or did you download a pirated version? If you did download it illegally you might have noticed a new costume. Shame on you!

So what's this new costume all about? Remedy Entertainment have added a pirate's eye patch to the game's main protagonist, Jack Joyce. This will also happen if you start the game without logging into the Windows Store, as it automatically thinks you've pirated it.

Truthfully though, we don't think it's actually possible to download Quantum Break illegally, as there's no crack for UWP Apps – according to NeoGaf – so if you're seeing the Pirate Patch just reset your game and it should disappear. Looks like it's all down to an “accidental DRM trigger”, according to Remedy.

Doesn't look bad though, does it?
