Following a bit of detective work, Gamespot has reported that Fable 2 is likely to be released in October this year. In a developer diary posted on the Lionehead Studios website, designer Peter Molyneux can be seen scrawling ‘October’ in a notebook. This follows his earlier comments stating Fable 2 would be released “when the leaves turn brown…when the evenings draw in, and it gets a little chilly, but not very chilly at night.”
Gamespot also looked at retailers and the provisional dates they had assigned to Fable 2’s release – GameStop, Best Buy and Amazon all have the fantasy RPG scheduled for an October release.
