Use Modern Warfare 2's glitches, "receive suspensions from Live"

Stephen Toulouse of Xbox Live has warned all would-be exploiters of Modern Warfare 2’s ‘Javelin glitch’ that they’ll be sent to the naughty corner.

While Infinity work on getting the ”MW2 glitch fixed,” that’s no excuse to exploit it. First offense is 24 hour ban, more ”can be 2 weeks!”

”While IW works on getting the MW2 glitch fixed, people we catch using it will receive suspensions from LIVE. Play fair everyone,” twittered Toulouse, reports Eurogamer.

”Using a glitch in a game to get an advantage is explicitly called out in the ToU. It’s not like people are doing it by accident,” he later added. ”For those asking, cheating suspensions are usually 24 hours for first offense. But egregious cheating can be 2 weeks!”

For you dirty gamers who think it’s okay to use glitches, because it’s totally not your fault, Toulouse has an analogy for you: ”If I install my car stereo wrong and it disables my door locks, its not ok to STEAL MY CAR” he twittered.

The ‘Javelin glitch’ turns players into suicide bombers, by equipping a rocket launcher a certain way and sprinting. As soon as the player is killed, boom, all around die.
