Ubi delays "brilliant" Splinter Cell: Conviction, wants it "awesome"

Publisher Ubisoft broke some more hearts recently, announcing that the long awaited Splinter Cell: Conviction is to be delayed yet again.

The top bosses want it polished more, as ‘looking brilliant’ just doesn’t cut it. It was due February 26th but now lies somewhere in FY2010.

”The game looks brilliant, but we want it to be awesome,” a Ubi spokesperson told Eurogamer, giving their very technical reasoning behind the delay. Now the Xbox 360 and PC Splinter Cell: Conviction will release sometime after April 1st, 2010.
