Steal A Bible And Fly Into The Sunset With 20 Minutes Of New Ghost Recon: Wildlands Footage

Closer still to the launch of Ghost Recon: Wildlands, it isn't all about watching real actors shoot down three shifty fellows in a shed while playing with a cat this time around. 20 minutes of official gameplay footage has sneaked its way onto the Ubisoft YouTube account with the game's lead designer giving us a guided tour.

Similar to the demonstrations shown off at trade shows over the last year or so, we're given another opportunity to watch the sun rise over the green hills on a stormy night. Bragging the seamless transition of day/night cycles, we get a birdseye view of it all after one of the developers decides its mission accomplished after stealing a bible and filling a church with lead.

Taking off with a nearby helicopter, we're being whisked away to another hotspot before turning back to handle a newly dished out mission to extract a certain VIP. Though previous gameplay demos have tended to give off similar vibes to The Division with a map system akin to that seen in Steep, we're watching a develop play all by himself while the AI takes control of the 3 other squad mates that'll never leave your side. If you ever needed a clearer view of Ghost Recon: Wildlands, you've certainly got it now. There's no second perspective of another player like there was in the last, short-form video footage, but at least you're not expected to spend your time with others if you're feeling some alone time.
