Break out the history books and turn to Ancient Egypt. A point in time that regularly fascinates youngsters getting their primary school fix, it seems increasingly likely to be the time period of the next Assassin's Creed game. Information pertaining to the allegedly named 'Assassin's Creed: Origins' has been slipping out all over the show in the last few weeks. Though hints and rumors have been circulating for a while now, it's been the run-up to E3 that's seen the goods spill out at an increasing rate.

Sure, it may only be a shirt - something anyone could fabricate. But there's been a recurring theme over the last few weeks when it comes to this specific idea of a new Assassin's Creed. Screenshots have leaked with believable names and dates trickling out. We can barely go much further back into the past before we reach a point were an Assassin would stuggle to find the tools that make the games what they are. Assassin's Creed: Primal? It worked for Far Cry (sort of), but communication was an issue back then. Forming the 'Creed' would have been a challenge in itself. With only around 2 weeks separating us from E3 right now, how much longer can Ubisoft keep things afloat? They already let loose Far Cry 5, so who's to say we won't see an official teaser trailer pop up before Ubisoft's main show?
