We know a few things about Capybara Games’ Below, but we do know that it’s a roguelike adventure. We know it’s about exploration and survival. We know it has a Dark Souls-style death system. We know it looks great. We know it’ll feature Jim Guthrie’s incredible compositions. We also know that it won’t make its summer release window.

Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery was nothing if not stylish. Say what you will of its modest adventure game trappings and its hipster-cool dialog, the art and music gave it some of the most arresting aesthetics I’ve yet seen in a game. So I’ve been watching Capybara’s latest, Below, with great interest ever since it made its debut at Microsoft’s E3 2013 press conference.
