Say, do you fancy watching eight minutes of developer Nival's upcoming return to hectic WW2 strategy with Blitzkrieg 3? Well, here you go then. It appears that the series' signature penchant for massed tank battles and pyrotechnics is present and correct. The video walks us through basic tactical movement and combat, and provides ample proof of the dangers of absentmindedly crossing minefields. It's all looking very promising as the game gears up for open beta next month.
Nival announce return of WWII real-time strategy series with Blitzkrieg 3
The Blitzkrieg strategy series is gearing up for more real-time war as developer Nival announce Blitzkrieg 3, which is due out for PC and Mac in 2015. It shuns politics and ideology for just plain war. The USSR, the Axis and the Allies each have their own classic single-player campaigns, where we take the role of commanders in an "interactive story" which can blend in multiplayer.
