Metal Gear Solid zombie survival spin-off Survive, currently in Beta, will have Microtransactions - but the game's producer says that they will not be P2W and the game won't get Loot Crates.
Konami's revealed at E3 2017 that its multiplayer zombie-like survival spinoff Metal Gear Survive has been delayed from its 2017 release date. The game, which is coming to PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, will now be released in early 2018.
Speaking out during last week's Tokyo Game Show, Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima, when questioned about possible involvement with Konami's newest Metal Gear spin-off 'Survive', was adamant the espionage shooter-turned-zombie-survival game due next year has "...nothing to do with me."
Since the well documented break-up of Kojima and Konami leading up to the release of Metal Gear Solid V, Konami seemingly quit the majority of the video game industry instead setting their sights on branded pachinko machines and licenced games like Pro Evolution Soccer. So it came as a surprise when the company announced a bewilderingly spin-off to the popular Metal Gear franchise not long after phasing out the series' creator from its ranks.
