Former Codemasters developer Tim Browne has revealed on his Twitter feed that he will be working on Assassin's Creed III's online multiplayer. Browne's Twitter account now describes him as the "Lead Game Designer on Assassin's Creed 3 Multiplayer @Ubisoft". Browne had previously worked on two Operation Flashpoint titles: Red River and Dragon Rising. OpFlash is best known for being a hardcore militaristic shooter, which is hardly a similar genre to Assassin's Creed.

Codemasters announced today the first downloadable content for Operation Flashpoint: Red River. The Valley of Death Pack will be available to download from the Xbox Live Marketplace (560 MSP), Games for Windows Live Marketplace (560 MSP) and PlayStation Network (£4.79/$6.99/€5.99) at the end of June.
