Horror game Perception has been funded on Kickstarter, scraping past its goal of $160,000 by only $8,000. That must have been a tense final few hours for the deep at The Deep End Games. “We are so proud to be able to make this game thanks to you,” the team writes. “Words cannot express the level of gratitude and sheer joy this has brought us, and we can't wait to make this game and put it in your hands!”

The Deep End Games' intriguing horror game project Perception, which casts you as a blind woman investigating a haunted house using echolocation, is coming to the end of its Kickstarter campaign, and it's touch and go as to whether it will get the funds it needs. With just a couple of days left to go, the game needs a bit of a bump to clear its $150,000 goal – as of this post it's earned $144,385.
