Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness Summary
The excruciatingly long wait is finally over for Psycho-Pass fans as the long-missing PC version of Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness has finally shown up. Released on Steam yesterday, the game comes in two flavors - Standard and an artbook including Digital Alpha Edition.
Promising to spread the good news at their own event over the weekend, NIS America began the weekend by announcing 19 titles currently scheduled for release of the coming year.
For the first time in their history, NIS America will be streaming their typically press-only event to the world next week.
Announced through a not-so-sneaky invite email, NIS America is planning some key Steam reveals for their annual event in San Francisco come Fabruary 17.
While NIS America never committed to a solid PC release date for the psychological thriller Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Hapiness, it only took a few days of the console release to see the Steam version officially pushed away from its vague '2016' release.
Reaching out to NIS America themselves, they simply had this to say on the matter "When we first announced the game, we announced it would be available on PS4, Vita, and Steam - but in April 2016 we clarified that the game would release on 16 September for PS4/Vita, and would let everybody know the Steam versions' release date later on. Now in September, we finally reveal that the Steam version of the game will be available in 2017
