Shadowrun Returns developer Harebrained Schemes will be taking the fight to another kind of science fiction universe this autumn as they launch a Kickstarter campaign for Jordan Weisman's 1984 BattleTech series. What little we know of their plans is this: it will be an "open-ended Mercenaries-style campaign" that will blend RPG "Mech and MechWarrior management" with turn-based tactics. The campaign begins this autumn.

Harebrained Schemes has just revealed the launch date for the just-take-my-money Shadowrun: Hong Kong that successfully robbed us blind of over $1.2 million through its Kickstarter campaign back in February this year. Well chummer, our runners will be on a flight to Hong Kong this August 20th through Steam, GOG.com and Humble. The studio is making a number of changes to the game, like the Matrix.
