Sonic Mania is a masterpiece of redone music and sound, but it's not certainly not the first to revolutionize the iconic sounds of a Sonic game. When Sonic CD hit the scene, it bumped the soundscape of Sonic up quite a few notches. Now you can celebrate the old school with this mod that replaces many of the sounds in Sonic Mania with their Sonic CD counterparts. Each jump, bounce, enemy explosion, and ring collection sounds like the classically upbeat noises that can be found in the Sonic CD game. Be aware, this mod uses the Sonic Mania Mod Loader to work properly.
