Seabury told Gamasutra, “We’ve brought them out to Denver twice… the first time, it was more about getting them up to speed on the concept and what was going on and hearing a lot of feedback and opening a dialogue, and the next time we brought them back out, they actually got hands-on with the tools and the technology.” He added that he and his team think of these Lego hobbyists as “developers helping us build the game.”
Lego Universe was announced in 2007 by the Lego Group, the privately held company that owns the Lego Brand. Net Devils was announced as the developer at that time. The MMO is scheduled to be released in 2009.
