GTi Club+ producer Phillip Macdonald has said the decision to go with PSN at the time was that the Xbox Live audience was used to junk, and GTi was ”better than that.”
Despite the slight trash talking of Xbox Live, Macdonald has suggested in an interview with Kikizo that Konami might not keep it on PSN forever, except ”at the moment” .
”I think at the time we just thought the Xbox Live audience were used to retro, cheap ports, and we didn’t want to put this on there because we think it’s better than that,” explains Macdonald.
”So we chose to go with PlayStation Network. I’m not saying it’s going to be on PSN forever, but at the moment - that’s the decision that was taken.”
GTi Club+ Rally Cote D’Azur is being exclusively released on PS3 this December 4th.
