Ubisoft Montreal’s Prince of Persia is coming out early next month, CEO Yves Guillemot has revealed the company has ”hope” it’ll stick to 8.5 and up.
During Wednesdays earning call he said they’ve already gotten ”8s, some 9s and one 10.” The latest in the franchise will appear on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
”Already, there’s a number of good marks. We have 8s, some 9s and one 10. But we’re still waiting for a lot of marks to come,” said Ubi’s Guillemot.
He said that as it stands now the game is in the ”high 8s. We hope it can be in the 9s,” but he concedes that they’re expecting ”it to be 8.5 and 9.2 or 3,” he said.
Prince of Persia utilises the same engine that powered Assassin’s Creed, it also now adopts a cell-shaded visual art style and has gone open-world.
