Developer Telltale Games, who’ve risen to prominence thanks to their resurrection of classic franchises in episodic form, have got something in the works that’s ‘mind blowing’.
Unfortunately we won’t be told what it is, at least not yet. The studio is busy ”out in the streets,” chatting with folks about franchises. So far they’ve brought back two LucasArts classics.
”We’ve got product in production right now that we’ve been talking about but we haven’t really set a release date to,” Telltale’s Dan Connors told Shacknews in an interview, asked what they’ll be doing after Tales of Monkey Island, and Wallace and Gromit.
”Everything else, we’re just ….we’re out in the streets, sort of talking around to different folks to figure our franchises that make real good sense for a May-June timeframe,” he continued.
”Hopefully we’ll pull something in that’ll blow everybody’s mind. We’re pretty excited about the people we’re talking to, so hopefully we’ll have a pretty huge announcement here soon.”
What could this mind blow be? Will they bring back another LucasArts gem like… Grim Fandango?
