The upcoming GamesCom in Cologne, Germany will have Final Fantasy XIV on show confirms Square Enix Europe, having been unveiled at this year’s E3.
The MMO will be for PlayStation 3 and PC with Square planning a ”simultaneous global release” supporting English, German, French and Japanese. Xbox 360 a possibility still.
”I want to emphasise that it will be available for PS3 and PC - and we are considering all our options for other hardware - including Microsoft,” said Shinji Hashimoto of Square Enix, in June.
Also in attendance from Square Enix Europe at GamesCom will be Batman: Arkham Asylum, with gamers able to sample some of the levels before its launch on August 28th.

Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers, Front Mission Evolved, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Mini Ninjas, Nier, Order of War and Pony Friends 2.
Chris Taylor’s Supreme Commander 2 will also be premiering a playable version at the event, with team Taylor most recently having released Demigod with Stardock Games.
