Valve's Left 4 Dead 2 has sold 2.9 million since its November launch, with Dragon Age now at 3.2 million. It's a "tremendous start" for new IP.
“This is a tremendous start for the Dragon Age franchise and we are extremely pleased with the great reception the game has already received from critics and fans worldwide,” said BioWare's Ray Muzyka.
"Our team is dedicated to crafting high quality, engaging new adventures and stories in the world of Ferelden for our fans.” EA has also just announced another new Dragon Age project in the works, for release in Q4 fiscal 2011.
Dragon Age: Origins: Awakening is due out March 16th as an expansion. All of this came from EA's fiscal earnings call. Check out the trailer below.
