Tony Hawk: Shred is the studio's last entry in the series apparently after Ride and its peripheral board failed to wow. They're "busy" with work still.
These layoffs come two weeks before Tony Hawk: Shred is due to be released. While is has not been confirmed it is thought that the loss of the Tony Hawk franchise for the studio has led to the downsizing of which Robomodo has now acknowledged.
“It is always difficult to let hard-working and valued employees go. Robomodo has retained all of the company's directors and leads, along with other staff members. All are busy working on future projects and ideas, which will become the innovative games of tomorrow,” said the studio.
“We hope to bring back some of our team as we ramp up on our next projects." Tony Hawk: Shred releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii October 29th.
