The news will break Tuesday during Sony’s E3 press event apparently. The consoles will be packing faster internal Wi-Fi too, says a source.
Currently PS3s have a standard 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi built into them but the newer models will include the new and faster 802.11n, which supports the latest wireless routers with N band, which means higher bandwidth to go with your fancy broadband Internets.
”I don’t know about prices, but their strategy is quite smart,” CVG’s LA source said.
”With a super high-end and a less high-end approach, Move could almost become a success by stealth.” Sony has already confirmed 3 SKUs are planned for Move; standalone, with camera and game, with camera and PS3.
We’ll just have to wait till tomorrow.
