Trioviz helped make Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham Asylum go third-dimension, on normal HD and 3D HD TVs. Epic don’t plan a GOW2 3D remake.
”This technology’s great because it works on normal HD TVs, as well as the very high end 3DTVs,” Rein commented to CVG while at E3 2010. This was all just to impress UE3 partners though that they could use Trioviz to help them re-release their titles.
”We’re not planning to re-release this in 3D - unless Microsoft want us to - but I’m sure it’s technology our partners may be keen to put in” their games, he continued.
Microsoft are sceptical of 3D right now because they know the pricing is at a premium and so aren’t as bold about it like Sony, but then again Microsoft doesn’t operate an electronics arm that produces 3D TVs now do they?
