Outsourcing to western developers looks to be a key strategy for Capcom in their new drive for more yearly releases, reports Nikkei. The publisher also feels it can slice development time down from 4 to 3 or maybe even 2 years.
The fighting genre is already getting a lot more attention from Capcom with Street Fighter X Tekken announced recently, and Marvel vs. Capcom 3 due in 2011. One game that’s due this year and that’s already outsourced is Dead Rising 2.
