He confirms there will be ”special add-on packs”, otherwise known as DLC, and then teases some of that ”may involve singing.” He wouldn’t say any more.
It was during an interview that the voice actor revealed Gearbox Software’s plans for some downloadable Duke Nukem content in the future. ”I’ve probably done seven or eight sessions for Duke Nukem Forever, and I have some still to go,” said Jon St. John.
”Even though the game is still finished, of course there will be special add-on packs and features including… I don’t know if I am allowed to talk about this or not… something that may involve singing. I’ll leave it at that.” Duke Nukem Forever went gold recently.
”As we wrap everything up completely and get closer to the launch date, our attentions can be allowed to think about the future again,” said Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford, referring to any plans for DLC. The studio want to talk with fans first after DNF releases.
Duke Nukem Forever releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC next week.
