In this Exterminatus Mode a team of four elite Space Marines face off against ”hordes of alien enemies in a score based fight to the death,” reveals THQ. You can choose from Tactical, Devastator or Assault Marine and use any of their weapons and perks.
”Each of Exterminatus Mode’s scenarios, ‘Assault on Hab Center Andreas’ and ‘Escape From Kalkys Facility’ feature global leader boards, encouraging you to take the risk on dynamic in-game challenges that pop up during play. For example, “Kill 10 Orks in 10 seconds”. With extra lives and points up for grabs if you complete a challenge.”
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC September 6th in the US, 9th in Europe. The free ‘Exterminatus Mode’ co-op DLC releases in October.
