Irem cancels Disaster Report 4 following real-life crisis in Japan

As Japan is still reeling from the devastation of both an earthquake and a tsunami, developer Irem has scrapped Disaster Report 4 entirely.

It was due this spring and involved fictional disasters that share a great resemblance to what Japan is experiencing right now. No official word yet.

The nation of Japan is in dire crisis right now as they begin to tally the sheer numbers of lives claimed as well as attempt to contain a number of critically damaged Nuclear power stations. See below for the Disaster Report 4 debut trailer.
