The PS3 seems to have trouble leaving pre and post-game lobbies forcing hard resets, while some on Xbox 360 can’t get past the Kaos Studios logo.
”I’m looking into the reports of PS3 freezing issues and will provide an update once I’ve spoken with all the teams. Will need a bit of time, but in the interim - thanks a lot for your patience,” posted Kaos community manager Jeremy Greiner.
The PlayStation 3 copies are freezing up during normal gameplay and when trying to leave game lobbies apparently, with users joining the chorus over on the official forums. Xbox 360 copies have in some cases not managed to get past the studio logo.
”We’re looking into the issue that is happening to a few users, once I have an update it will be posted here. Thanks for your patience. In the meantime, those experiencing the issue: If you could please post the exact step by step process of how it occurred, that would be appreciated,” added Greiner, in response to the Xbox 360 crowd.
Homefront sold 375k copies its first day on sale in the US. It releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC tomorrow in Europe. Hopefully the PC version is at least trouble free.
