The Big Head Mode is activated by a little ‘secret handshake’ as it were with the game controller. Then Batman and all the goons of Arkham City get rather inflated egos heads.
Before you go charging off to fight for justice with a massive bonce, you first need to have completed the game and can’t be using Easy mode. Big heads aren’t for everyone.
On Xbox 360 you need to hold LT and RT together while rotating the left and right analogue sticks in opposite directions for 5 seconds. The same applies to the PS3 controller except you hold all four shoulder buttons. Developer Rocksteady like their Easter Egg surprises and so could there be more lurking about?
Batman: Arkham Asylum had a secret room in Warden Sharp’s office but it was only known to fans when Rocksteady blabbed about its location. Batman: Arkham City releases on PC next week.
