Not all the news from the developer was bad, however. A ComicCon panel for the game will be held at San Diego Comic Con this weekend.
Having originally meant to launch on October 7 in the UK, the Digital Extremes shooter will release on February 7 in the US and February 10 in the UK.
2K’s also announced details of a San Diego ComicCon panel for the game on Thursday at 12pm, headed by voice actor and Faith No More lead singer Mike Patton, co-creator Marc Silvestri and Dark Cow CEO Matt Hawkins, and will celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Darkness IP as a whole.
If that weren’t enough, the playable demo will be open to the public as well.
