2K Games unveiled co-op multiplayer for their military shooter Spec Ops: The Line, which will be available as free DLC at launch on the 26th June. The co-op levels will be narrative-based, filling out holes of the single player campaign, but not making a whole separate story on its own.
Strategy Informer got to enjoy two levels of co-op levels. One featured two American soldiers having to assassinate a target, while the other has two refugees with inferior weaponry trying to escape their captors. In each case, co-op is paramount to surviving, or enemies will turn the partners into mincemeat.
Spec Ops: The Line will be released for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
