505 Games has announced that their Kinect-powered fitness title, Zumba Fitness Rush, will be available on store shelves tomorrow on the 24th February. The game is exclusively being released for the Xbox 360. The publisher also revealed that two DLC packs will be releasing later this year.
“We’re incredibly excited to be releasing Zumba Fitness Rush on Kinect. The title’s exclusive additional content and post-launch downloadable content promise fans of the dance-fitness phenomenon a truly comprehensive experience. With additional support from Microsoft, Zumba Fitness Rush is positioned to be another success story for the Zumba Fitness brand,” said 505 Games general manager Ralph-Pitt Stanley.
According to 505 Games, the first of the DLC will be released in May, and will include three Bollywood-styled songs that will feature Indian choreography. The other DLC will be released in September featuring three songs with a Hip Hop theme.
The publisher also revealed that the Zumba Fitness franchise has sold over 6M units in the last 15 months across all platforms including the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii.
The original Zumba Fitness was released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on the 18th November, 2010.
