Reaching $14M on the official site brings the Hibernation Mode, which allows players to shut down their spacecraft in deep space and resume the game at another point without worrying about other players trashing the ship. The $14M also brings a “Behind the Scenes of Star Citizen” documentary as well as adding a fourth land out option on Earth.
Reaching the new $15M goal will add an escort carrier flyable ship class and “The Upgrade Handbook,” a 42-page PDF manual that will be a written tutorial on how players can customize and overclock their ship systems. However, to get the manual, gamers have to contribute before the $15M goal is reached.
