They’ll be showcasing Battlefield 4, Need for Speed, their EA Sports catalogue as well as a ”first look at our plans” for the Star Wars universe. EA is releasing 11 major titles in fiscal 2014.
Since securing the very lucrative Star Wars license from Disney, EA has been very quiet on what’s happening with it. EA Labels’ Frank Gibeau promises news at E3.
”Our E3 briefing… will be a showcase of next-generation games like Battlefield 4, Need For Speed, a full range of EA Sports games and a first look at our plans for the Star Wars partnership with Disney,” he wrote. EA’s E3 press conference takes place June 10th and will be broadcast by Spike TV at 10.00pm PT.
”…what we showed today only skims the surface of a deep ocean of images and experiences. Now it’s up to us – DICE, BioWare, Criterion, Visceral, EA SPORTS and others – to show you what the new consoles can do.”
E3 2013 runs June 11-13 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
