Dylan Browne's sci-fi horror Caffeine has made the transition from Unreal Engine 3 over to 4, and it looks astonishingly good. The indie game perfectly captures the cold, sterile claustrophobia of Ridley Scott's 1979 Alien.
Caffeine was first shown at Rezzed in its new form, and now Browne is looking for $80,000 on Indiegogo to complete the project. Pretty amazing how good this looks considering it's a one man team.
The game tells the story of a young boy trapped on an abandoned mining space station, trying to find out exactly what happened to the former occupants. I'm going to go ahead and assume its something bad. There's no weapons, just puzzle-solving and atmospheric exploration. Browne hopes to release the game on PC in 2015.
