Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall is almost here and a glut of new information has been released through fresh leaks. There are 15 maps in total and detailed overviews of each reveal their points of interest.
Reliable sources also confirm the presence of anti-Titan turrets strewn throughout certain maps as well as ziplines for pilots, and a ‘regeneration’ system that resets you to level one.
There are nine campaign matches where you can play either side of the conflict, and each has their own pre-match briefing and radio chatter throughout.
At the launch of Titanfall there will be five game modes: Attrition (deathmatch), Capture the Flag, Hardpoint Domination, Last Titan Standing and Pilot Hunter (only pilot kills register points). The maps are: Airbase, Angel City, Boneyard, Colony, Corporate, Demeter, Fracture, Lagoon, Nexus, Outpost 207, Overlook, Relic, Rise, Smuggler and Training Ground.
You can ‘regen’ your pilot if you so choose which wipes all your XP and levels back to the beginning, along with all challenges etc. but now you’ll be gathering XP at a 110% rate. A unique chip identifies your status as a 2nd Gen Pilot, and you’ll also retain your Burn Card Collection, but everything else is wiped.
NeoGAF has the leaked map overviews for all 15 levels. Titanfall releases on PC and Xbox One March 11th.
