Broforce is a sublimely ridiculous Team America-inspired side-scrolling shooter packed to the gills with self-aware machismo. It's out now on Steam Early Access, and developers Free Lives have released an accompanying trailer that demonstrates a few tactical moves and shows a new female Bro in action.
The new character is RipBro, an obvious reference to Aliens' Ellen Ripley, complete with pulse rifle. She's the first female Bro. Free Lives are promising many more additions to the team, presumably also based on memorable action stars.
Here's Broforce's list of features as described on its Steam page. Obvisouly as an Early Access game the usual caveats about missing content and work in progress apply. The full game is planned for a late Summer launch if you'd rather wait.
