New in-game footage and some cut scenes are revealed and are sourced from pre-alpha footage. They also reveal the real-life casting and motion capture of the actors.
Alien: Isolation is a survival horror where we must learn the fate of a seemingly abandoned space station, only to discover there’s something lurking, and hunting.
The Total War studio wanted to capture the spirit of the original Alien film, and so there’s only one actual xenomorph on our trail, but we’re not some gun-toting marine. Instead we’ll need to stay one step ahead of the alien by using whatever we can find, all while trying to stay as quiet as possible.
Creative have said that they don’t want their xenomorph on a leash and so the real terror comes from knowing it’s actually just exploring the station itself, just like the player.
Alien: Isolation releases on PC, Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One and PS4 October 7th.
